Learn About Me
Adrienne Watters
Hello I’m the founder of Blue Sky Mindsets, a coaching space created to support children and teenagers in building the confidence, resilience and emotional well-being they need to thrive. After more than 25 years of teaching in primary schools across Edinburgh, Mallorca and England, I followed a growing passion to make an even deeper impact – stepping out of the classroom to retrain as a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Coach. It’s a decision that changed everything for me, and I haven’t looked back. I now work with young people in a supportive, non-judgemental environment where they feel heard, understood and empowered to create meaningful change in their lives.

Background and Experience
My work is grounded in decades of experience supporting children, both in educational settings and through specialist coaching. I hold formal qualifications in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Coaching and bring a rich understanding of childhood development into every session. Whether it’s helping with anxiety, self-confidence, exam stress, school refusal, or navigating the pressures of elite-level sport, I use a holistic approach that supports emotional growth and encourages young people to believe in themselves. On a personal note, I’m a proud mum to two teenage sons who compete internationally in tennis – so I truly understand the mindset and resilience needed to perform under pressure! My sporting background doesn’t stop there! As well as having a love for tennis, I’m also a former Artistic Gymnast who held many national titles in all junior and senior age groups. My biggest achievement was being selected for the British Zone and Commonwealth Games Squad when I was 14 years old! I grew up competing under pressure, learning from my mistakes and understanding the importance of self-belief; all experiences that have helped shape my mindset and my professional career. Whatever challenges your child is facing, I’m here to help them feel encouraged, supported and ready to make positive steps in the right direction.
